What it is

Microneedling (collagen induction therapy) uses a device with fine sterile needles to create hundreds of micro-channels in the skin, each too small to see once healed. This controlled injury tells your skin to repair itself, producing new collagen and elastin as it does.

Add Exosome serum and LED light and the same channels become a delivery route for actives that would not otherwise get past the surface, while the light calms the skin and speeds recovery.

Who it suits

Suits acne scarring, enlarged pores, fine lines and uneven texture, on skin that can tolerate a few days of downtime.

  • Best done as a course of 3 to 6 sessions spaced weeks apart, not a single treatment
  • Not suitable during active acne breakouts, pregnancy, or on certain retinoid or blood-thinning medications. We check this at consultation

What to expect

    A skin check first

    We review your skin, discuss what you want to improve and agree needle depth and whether Exosome & LED suits you, before treatment starts.

  2. During

    60 to 90 minutes

    A numbing cream is applied first. The device is passed over the treatment area in sections; most clients feel pressure and warmth rather than pain.

  3. After

    Redness that settles, results that build

    Skin looks sunburnt for 24 to 48 hours, then recovers quickly. Texture and tone continue improving for 4 to 6 weeks as new collagen forms.

Does it hurt?

Numbing cream is applied beforehand, so most clients feel pressure and warmth rather than pain. Sensitivity varies by area. Cheeks tend to be more comfortable than the upper lip or brow bone.

How many sessions will I need?

Most concerns need a course of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. We will suggest a realistic number at your consultation rather than a generic package.

Is there downtime?

Expect sunburnt-looking, tight skin for 24 to 48 hours. Most clients return to normal activities the next day, with makeup usually fine after 24 hours.

What does the Exosome & LED add?

Exosomes are applied through the fresh micro-channels to support repair, and LED calms redness and inflammation. It suits clients wanting quicker visible recovery or treating more stubborn scarring.
